Here is what I made for breakfast this morning....wanting to incorporate lean protein, healthy fats, and fiber!! A dose of fresh complex carb strawberries on the side.
Seedy Protein Pancake!
2 egg whites
1/4 cup low fat cottage cheese
1/4 scoop Designer Whey protein powder - vanilla
1 tbsp milk thistle seeds
1/2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp Barlean's Essential Woman omega blend oil
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp oat bran
2 tbsp Uncle Sam Flax cereal
cinnamon; cooked in 1/2 tsp raw organic coconut oil
topped with 1/2 cup diced strawberries
1 tbsp agave nectar
So yummy!
